Congratulations The Tippy Toe Co.
The public have spoken and The Tippy Toe Co. won Sunsuper’s Dreams for a Better World People’s Choice $10,000 grant in the 2017 Grand Final. They also took out fourth place to receive an additional $5,000 towards their dream.
The Tippy Toe Co. has impacted hundreds of families in South East Queensland and built a unique place for children with disabilities and their families to form supportive and lasting networks.
The entrepreneurial co-founders Zac and Mikayla and Principal dance teacher, Courtney dream big. Their long term dream is to take their ballet and tap dance classes for children with special needs to new heights with a fully interactive and parent respite centre – Active Eight.
With a total of $25,000 in grants from Sunsuper’s Dreams for a Better World in 2017 The Tippy Toe Co. introduced tap classes to their program and held an end of year concert. With the remaining funds they plan to pilot Active Eight in 2018 with a variety of dance classes and additional activities for children with special needs and offer respite for families.
