Entrepreneurs inspiring, educating and activating the next generation of world changers
The Dare to Dream workshops run in partnership with Seed Foundation Australia and Project Gen Z to help disadvantaged young people gain valuable life and business skills so that they can make a change and take charge of their lives. Social Enterprise, Project Gen Z has successfully run workshops in Cambodia and now with the national charity Seed Foundation Australia, together they share a dream to change the lives of indigenous Australians.
The Dare to Dream workshops are run by 20 of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs. Together they will inspire and educate over 100 Aboriginal and Torres Strait young people in North Queensland by teaching valuable life and business skills. From entrepreneurial mindset and problem solving skills; money management, sales and marketing skills, through to leadership and more. The goal is to ‘dare’ our young people to dream. With these skills and education, students will be inspired and motivated to make a change in their lives and feel more prepared and confident to start work, go to university, or even launch their own business.
The Dreams for a Better World grants will allow the Seed Foundation and Project Gen Z to pilot the Dare to Dream program to over 100 Aboriginal and Torres Strait young people.
We have successfully run the dare to dream program in Cambodia and made a positive impact on the lives of more than 300 disadvantaged young people – some whom now run their own business and many who have gone on to study at University.
The most exciting part...
Our workshops wrap up with a live 'Apprentice business Challenge' which will see our students compete in teams and launch a business in just one day. It is a fun, practical and educational series that will help students think about all the possibilities in which life they choose to lead. With the Dare to Dream program we will make an enormous impact on the lives of Indigenous Australians right around the country.
