Thank you volunteers!

To all the incredible volunteers who give their time to help others, we say thank you!
Our Dreams for a Better World winners rely on the hard work of thousands of volunteers each year to make a difference in our communities. Volunteers are essential to helping grassroots causes like Food for Change harvest fresh vegetables for hungry Australians, or help Thread Together distribute thousands of items of clothing; or like the amazing Pyjama Angels and mentors who help create brighter futures for hundreds of children Australia wide. This week celebrates everything they do and is a chance to say thank you for helping to change our communities and change lives.
At Sunsuper we encourage our people to get out into the community and we support them with a Growth Day they can use to volunteer. Before COVID-19 shutdown our Sydney teams helped Thread Together sort 15,000 items of clothing and our Analytics and Insights team volunteered to help set up the Kala Space in Brisbane and many others regularly volunteer at local hospitals and community meal services.
“It was a wonderful experience to spend a Growth Day volunteering at Thread Together with my work colleagues, collating and putting together boxes of clothes for those in need, as well as bushfire victims who have lost everything. It was great to know that we were playing a small part in reducing landfill as well as putting together wardrobes of clothes for communities from all walks of life, in need of a fresh start.” Danielle, Sunsuper
